The institute has been establish in 1979 as mini iti with a sanction Tranee capacity of 128 seats including 4 trades at Taluka place Limkheda, Dist- Dahod in the rental building. and upgrade in 1989 with following trades Gujarati typeing, Steno Gujarati , Plumber, Wireman with intake capacity of 128 seats. In 1984 institute has got 13 acres land and built own building with administrative block, workshop, hostel and staff quarters with 669.71sq.mt. construction area.

At present we have following NCVT Pattern trades Computer operator cum programming assistant, Cutting & Sewing, FITTER, WIREMAN AND ELECTRICIAN with intake capacity of 168 student and also short term pattern courses.

Now we are going to introduce Center of Excellence in Fabrication sector as well as short term pattern courses Construction skill training center with following Trades Bar bending, Formwork, Scaffoldings, Plumbing and sanitary for improving workers skill who are working in the fabrication & construction sector and also prepare new workers for the same .

The institute is functioning in two shifts commencing from 7.30 A.m. to 6.00 P.M.

The institute is functioning under Employment and Training Gandhinagar of Gujarat Govt. with main aspect to prepare skill workers for industries as well as increase self employment to Develop tribal area and state.

The institute is located at most backward district of the state but we confident to empower him with working skill and improving his own business like farming, carpentry, construction work and special business for self employment like vegetable grooving with the help of micro irrigation, electrical and mechanical maintenances, dress making, computer service etc.
